Early days Aitana Ocaña Morales was born in Sant Climent de Llobregat Barcelona, the only child of her parents. Her dream was to become a singer. As a teen, she recorded cover songs and uploaded them to YouTube. Career "Operacion Triunfo" is a Spanish music talent show where the public has a chance to vote for their favorite contestant. Entering the 2017 series, Aitana managed to stay the whole 12 weeks taking the runner-up position. The show's popularity gained a recognizable status throughout the country. In 2018, Aitana received an opportunity to enter the selection process for the Eurovision Song Contest. A chance to represent her country, she took to the stage with two songs, "Arde" and "Lo Molo" a duet with "Ana Guerra" she didn't win the spot, but her songs gained the countries interest, and Lo Molo reached the top of the Spanish charts. In the same year, "Operacion Triunfo" took their contenders on tour, Aitana joined them, giving her a chance to experience a live tour. The same year she released "Teléfono," and the single became her first solo number one. Aitana has collaborated with several singers, including Morat, David Bis, and Zayn from one direction.
