Alabama's first single was released in 1979, and was titled “I Wanna Come Over.” The band's debut album “My Home's in Alabama” was released the same year. The album featured the hit songs “Tennessee River” and “Why Lady Why.” The band's follow-up albums “Feels So Right” and “Mountain Music” both featured the singles “Love in the First Degree” and “Take Me Down” respectively. During this time, Alabama had several hit songs including “The Closer You Get,” “Old Flame,” and “The Fans.”
