In 1996 he released his first album titled 'Hecho a Mano', which was his first successful album with the single 'Si Te Vas'. Since then, he has released four other albums including 'Enamorado de la Vida' (2003), 'De Fiesta' (2009), 'Conexión' (2013) and 'Me Equivoque' (2016).

Alex's later career has seen him collaborating with other artists such as Daddy Yankee, Joan y O'Neill, Yomo, and Jowell y Randy.
