About Alexey Vorobyov
Alexey Vorobyov (born February 14, 1988) is a Russian singer, songwriter, and actor who first rose to fame after representing Russia in the Eurovision Song Contest 2011. He has since become one of the most popular pop performers in Russia and CIS countries.
Early Life and Career
Vorobyov was born in Moscow and was educated at the Music College at the Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory. He began his music career by performing with the musical groups Banda and Starlight. In 2006, he released his debut single “Crazy” which was followed by his debut album “Visiting Card” in 2007. This album spawned several successful singles such as “Sky”, “White Flag”, “We Will Fly”, and “Summertime”.
Eurovision Success
In 2011, Vorobyov was chosen to represent Russia at the Eurovision Song Contest with the song “Get You”. He finished 16th in the final but won the jury vote getting 12 points from both Ukraine and Belarus. After the contest he released his second album “We Can Change the World” which was certified gold in Russia. He also released several successful singles such as “Silver Rain”, “Frozen Love”, and “I Will Be There”.
Collaborations
Vorobyov has collaborated with many other artists such as Monatik, Irina Dubtsova, Polina Gagarina and Nargiz Zakirova. His collaboration with Monatik on the song “Love It ритм” was very popular in Russia and CIS countries. He also featured on the Eurovision 2014 entry of Ukraine - Mariya Yaremchuk's “Tick-Tock”.

Vorobyov released his third studio album “The Best Of Alexei Vorobyev” in 2018 which includes all his hits from his previous albums as well as new songs such as “Love Hurts” and “The Whole World In My Hands”.
