Who is Andy Mineo?

Andy Mineo is a Grammy-nominated Christian hip hop artist, producer, and podcast host from New York City. He is also a member of the Christian hip hop collective 116 Clique. Early Life

Andy Mineo was born Andrew Aaron Mineo on April 17th, 1984 in Syracuse, NY. He was raised in a Christian household and attended Christian schools throughout his childhood. His parents exposed him to music early on and he developed an affinity for hip hop as a teen. He studied music production in college and eventually moved to New York City after graduation to pursue a career in music.

Career Beginnings

Mineo released his debut mixtape “Sin is Wack” in 2008 under the name C-Lite. The mixtape featured production by 9th Wonder and guest appearances by Lecrae, Trip Lee, and KB.
