Early Life
Anirudh Sharma was born in New Delhi in 1991. He completed his schooling at Delhi Public School, R K Puram and graduated from Shri Ram College of Commerce in 2012. He started learning piano at the age of 4 and took music lessons from A. R. Rahman's KM Music Conservatory in Chennai.
Career
In 2012, Anirudh made his debut as a music director with 3, a Tamil romantic thriller directed by Aishwarya Dhanush, daughter of actor Dhanush. He composed the soundtrack for Ethir Neechal (2013), Velaiyilla Pattathari (2014) and Kabali (2016), all of which received critical acclaim and commercial success.

Anirudh has collaborated with many artists such as Dhanush, A. R. Rahman, Vishal Dadlani, Shreya Ghoshal and Honey Singh.
