Who Is Al Ghazali?

Al Ghazali is an Indonesian singer and songwriter whose real name is Ghazali Syachputra. Born in 2000, he rose to fame after winning the Indonesian talent show “Rising Star Indonesia” in 2017. He has since released several singles, EPs, and albums. Al Ghazali is known for his unique style of blending traditional Indonesian music with modern pop.

Early Life & Career

Prior to competing on “Rising Star Indonesia”, Al Ghazali had already earned a following on YouTube, where he posted cover versions of popular songs. After winning the show, he gained popularity throughout Indonesia for his songwriting and performance abilities. His debut single, “Takkan Pisah”, was released in 2018 and reached #1 on the Billboard Indonesia chart. The single was followed by several other singles and his debut EP, “Jalan Cinta” (2020). In 2021, he released his first full-length album, “Suara Hati”.
