Alle Farben is the stage name of Frans Zimmer, a German DJ and music producer active since 2011. His first major release was 'She Moves' in 2013, on which he collaborated with Graham Candy. This track was an instant success, peaking at #2 on the German Singles Chart and eventually going platinum. He has since released four studio albums and collaborated with other artists such as Janieck, ILIRA and Younotus. Alle Farben’s sound is distinctively melodic and groovy, with influences from deep house to pop.

Early Life

Frans Zimmer was born in Berlin in 1983. He began experimenting with music production in his early teens, inspired by electronic music from the 1980s. After completing high school, he pursued a degree in music production from the University of the Arts in Berlin. It was during this period that he adopted the stage name 'Alle Farben'.

Career

Alle Farben released his debut album 'Synesthesia' in 2013. This album charted at number 20 on the German Albums Chart, giving Alle Farben his first top twenty album. His second album 'Music Is My Best Friend' was released in 2016 and reached number ten on the same chart. Since then, he has released two more albums titled 'Sticker' (2018) and 'Lila' (2020). In 2019, Alle Farben also released the single “Fading” along with Younotus and ILIRA, which peaked at number 15 on the German Singles Chart.

Legacy

Alle Farben has earned commercial success in Germany with five top twenty albums and three top fifteen singles to his name. He has also toured extensively around Europe, performing at various festivals such as Southside Festival (2018) and Parookaville Festival (2019). His melodic sound has earned him critical acclaim amongst electronic music fans around the world.
