Almanegra is an electronic music producer and DJ from Madrid, Spain. His real name is Álvaro de la Font and he's 31 years old. He is known for his unique soundscapes, blending elements from techno, house, minimal and progressive. He has released several EPs and singles on various labels such as Bedrock Records and his own imprint, Melonkollektiv.

Career

Almanegra has been producing electronic music for more than 15 years. He started making music at a young age and was influenced by the sounds of classic house and techno producers like Jeff Mills and Derrick May. He made his debut in the early 2000s with the release of several EPs on different labels. His productions quickly gained attention from the international scene and he started to perform in several countries around the world. In 2010, he released his first album called “The Journey” which was well received by the public. In 2012, he launched his own label Melonkollektiv which is dedicated to releasing quality electronic music.

Almanegra's sound is a combination of different styles such as techno, deep house, minimal and progressive. He likes to experiment with different sounds and textures to create something new.
