Since his professional debut in 2006 with the album Something Like This, Ben has gone on to release eight more highly successful albums that have earned him widespread recognition and a large fandom.

Early Years

Ben Rector was born on October 7th, 1983 to a musical family. His father was a church organist and choir director while his mother served as a vocal coach. It was no surprise that Ben began playing piano and guitar at the age of five. He continued to pursue music throughout his teenage years, playing in various school bands and singing in his church choir. In 2004 he moved to Nashville where he began recording his own music and writing songs for other artists.

Career Highlights

In 2006 Ben released his debut album Something Like This which quickly gained traction among fans of folk-pop music. His follow up album Into the Morning (2008) further solidified him as an artist to watch out for. From there Ben continued to release highly successful albums such as Brand New (2011), The Walking In Between (2014), Magic (2015), and Brand New (2018). He has also done numerous tours where he has performed alongside many other popular artists including John Mayer, Matt Nathanson, Sheryl Crow, and Switchfoot.
