Who is Berlin?

Berlin is an American new wave and synth-pop music band formed in Los Angeles, California in 1978. The band consists of John Crawford (vocals, bass), David Diamond (synthesizers), and Terri Nunn (vocals). Berlin has been nominated for one Grammy Award and also won several MTV Video Music Awards. Their most successful songs include “Take My Breath Away” and “No More Words”.

Berlin's Discography

Berlin's debut album, Pleasure Victim, was released in 1982. It charted at number 85 on the US Billboard 200 chart. Their follow up album, Love Life (1984), was their first Top 10 US hit. It featured the song “No More Words” which went on to become one of their most successful songs. The album was certified platinum by the RIAA in 1985.

Collaborations

Berlin has collaborated with various other artists throughout their career, including David Bowie and Billy Idol. Berlin's collaboration with Bowie on the song “Dancing in the Street” was a hit single in both the US and UK. They also collaborated with Billy Idol on his hit single “White Wedding”.
