Blac Youngsta (real name Sam Benson) was born on May 11th 1989 in Memphis, Tennessee. Growing up he was heavily influenced by rap music and he soon began writing his own lyrics. He attended Whitehaven High School where he played football and was a popular member of the school. After graduating, Blac Youngsta enrolled at the University of Memphis where he studied Business and Music.
Career Beginnings
In 2014, Blac Youngsta released his first mixtape titled I Swear to God which featured songs like “Heavy” and “Booty”. The mixtape was a success and it put Blac Youngsta on the map as one of the hottest new rappers in the south.
