Who is bülow?

bülow is a Canadian singer, songwriter & producer from Hamilton, Ontario. Born Mélanie Bülow, her stage name is inspired by her German heritage. Her first EP, Damaged Vol. 1, was released in 2018, and was followed by her debut album, Crystalline in 2019. bülow has been featured on tracks with other popular artists such as Shaed and K.Flay.

Early Career

In 2015 bülow started releasing music independently. She quickly gained a fan following due to her unique style combining pop melodies with rap verses. In 2017 she released a single called “Not A Love Song” which was followed by an EP titled Damaged Vol 1. Both were well-received by critics and her fan base grew exponentially.

Crystalline and Not A Love Song

In 2019, bülow released her debut album Crystalline, which included the single “Not A Love Song” as well as several other singles. The album was a huge success, reaching #1 on the Canadian iTunes chart and garnering critical praise from publications such as Pitchfork and The Fader.

Collaborations

In addition to her solo work, bülow has collaborated with several other popular artists such as Shaed and K.Flay on various tracks. She has also been featured on remixes of songs by artists such as Marian Hill and DJ Snake.

Future Plans

Currently, bülow is working on new music and is set to release several new singles in 2020. She has also announced plans to embark on a world tour later this year.
