Early Life
Busiswa was born in Port Elizabeth, South Africa. She grew up in a musical family and started singing at a young age. She was inspired by traditional South African music as well as American R&B and Hip Hop artists like Missy Elliott. She attended college in Durban where she studied journalism.
Career
After graduating from college Busiswa moved to Johannesburg and started pursuing a career in music.
