Busta 929 is a South African DJ and producer from Pretoria, Gauteng. His real name is Tebogo Madingoane, and he was born on October 16th, 1994. He is best known for his collaboration with DJ Maphorisa on the hit singles 'Umlilo' and 'Risky'.

Early Career

Busta 929 began his music career in 2015. His first release was 'Sgubu Se Monati', a single featuring fellow South African artists Reece Madlisa and Zuma. The song was released through Open Mic Productions, a record label co-founded by Madingoane himself. It gained traction among music fans on social media, becoming one of the most popular songs of 2015.

Collaborations with DJ Maphorisa
