Carly Pearce is a country music singer and songwriter from Taylor Mill, Kentucky. She was born on April 24, 1990, as Carly Cristyne Slusser. At age 13, she began performing at the Renfro Valley Entertainment Center in nearby Mount Vernon, Kentucky. After graduating high school early at age 16, Carly moved to Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, where she sang in a band and performed at Dollywood. She eventually moved to Nashville in 2008 to pursue her career in country music.

In 2017, Carly released her debut single ""Every Little Thing"" which quickly climbed the Country Airplay Chart. The single was certified Gold by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). In 2018, she released her self-titled debut album which peaked at number two on the Top Country Albums chart and number seven on the Billboard 200 chart. The album's third single ""Hide the Wine"" reached number one on the Country Airplay chart.
