Cody Jinks is an American country singer, songwriter, and guitarist from Denton County, Texas. He was born on August 18th, 1980. He began performing at local clubs when he was in high school, gaining recognition for his unique style of music. Since then, he has released several successful albums and singles and collaborated with other prominent artists. His most recent work includes the 2019 album “The Wanting” and the 2020 single “Must Be the Whiskey”.
Early Career
Jinks started his career as a local musician playing in clubs in the Texas area. His early work was heavily influenced by the traditional country music of his youth. In 2014, he released his first full-length album titled “Adobe Sessions”, which was met with critical acclaim and commercial success. This led to him signing a record deal with Rounder Records in 2015 and releasing the album “Lifers” that same year.
Rise to Fame
In 2016, Jinks released the single “I'm Not the Devil” which quickly became a fan favorite. This song was featured on his next album “I'm Not the Devil” which was released in 2016.
