Early Days Born in Philadelphia, his real name is Pedro David Daleccio. After the break-up of his parent's marriage, he and his mum relocated to Pennsylvania, and by 12, they moved onto Puerto Rico. Living in the country of Reggaeton, he was captivated by the legends of the genre, artists such as Daddy Yankee, Don Omar, and Tego Calderon. He was also inspired by the sweet tones of R&B. Career Singing and songwriting stimulated the talented singer. Dalex was ambitious and wanted a music career. He was also wise enough to know he needed a backup and enrolled in a barbering course, a skill he could take anywhere. After moving to Florida, he took a job in a barbershop. Luck was on his side when he crossed paths with the owner of the AnakinEnt label, he signed the singer, and he became part of the duo "Jayma & Dalex." The pair put out a few songs, but it was "me Encantas" that elevated the twosome, they went on to tour South America. In 2017, after going solo, he gained a deal with Rich Music in Miami.
