Early Life and Career
Diego da Costa Pereira was born in 1981 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. After moving to São Paulo in the late 1990s, he began his career as a musician by playing with several local bands. In 2002, he met singer-songwriter Arnaldo Antunes and the two decided to work together as a duo. They released their first album, “Um Canto de Canção”, that same year. Since then, they have released five studio albums and numerous singles.

In addition to their own music, Diego e Arnaldo have collaborated with several other artists. Most notably, they have collaborated with Caetano Veloso, Milton Nascimento and Marisa Monte on several of their songs.
