Diego e Arnaldo are a Brazilian pop music duo made up of singer-songwriters Diego da Costa Pereira and Arnaldo Antunes. The duo's musical style is a mix of pop, rock, funk and samba. They have released several studio albums since 2002, including their critically acclaimed album “Como É Que Se Faz” in 2008. In addition to their albums, they have also released numerous singles, featuring some of Brazil's biggest names in music.

Early Life and Career

Diego da Costa Pereira was born in 1981 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. After moving to São Paulo in the late 1990s, he began his career as a musician by playing with several local bands. In 2002, he met singer-songwriter Arnaldo Antunes and the two decided to work together as a duo. They released their first album, “Um Canto de Canção”, that same year. Since then, they have released five studio albums and numerous singles.

Collaborations

In addition to their own music, Diego e Arnaldo have collaborated with several other artists. Most notably, they have collaborated with Caetano Veloso, Milton Nascimento and Marisa Monte on several of their songs. Their latest collaboration was with Brazilian rapper Emicida on the song “Quem É?” from their most recent album “Amor Eterno” (2020).

Legacy

Diego e Arnaldo have been praised for their unique sound and ability to blend different genres of music into one cohesive style.
