Who Is DPR LIVE?

DPR LIVE (also known as DPR or Dream Perfect Regime) is a South Korean singer, rapper and songwriter who has been making waves in the K-pop industry since his debut in 2015. His music is often infused with trap, hip hop and reggae influences, and he is also known for collaborating with other popular K-pop artists.

Early Life

DPR LIVE was born Dongwon Park on April 8th, 1993 in Seoul, South Korea. He grew up listening to a wide variety of genres, from hip hop to rock to jazz. He was also influenced by his father's love of classical music. After graduating from high school, he enrolled in the Seoul Institute of Arts majoring in Applied Music.

Career Beginnings

In 2015, DPR LIVE released his first single, “Action” featuring Jay Park and produced by Cha Cha Malone. The single was an instant hit and quickly gained popularity among K-pop fans. Since then, he has collaborated with countless other artists such as BewhY, Giriboy, Zion.T and more. DPR LIVE has released several albums and EPs including Coming To You Live (2018) and Is Anybody Out There? (2019).

Awards & Recognition

DPR LIVE has won several awards for his work in the K-pop industry including two Mnet Asian Music Awards for Best New Male Artist in 2016 and Best Dance Performance Solo in 2017. He has also been nominated for several Melon Music Awards and Korean Music Awards.
