Eno's Early Life and Career Beginnings

Brian Eno was born on 15 May 1948 in Woodbridge, Suffolk, England. He was a student of Ipswich Art School and Winchester School of Art. He became interested in music through experimenting with tape recorders as a child. As a teenager, he played in several local bands as a keyboardist and bassist. In 1968, he joined Roxy Music as a synthesizer player. He left the band in 1973 and pursued a solo career.

Solo Success

Eno released his first solo album, Here Come the Warm Jets, in 1974. The album was well-received by critics and featured the singles ""Baby's on Fire"" and ""Blank Frank"". His success continued with 1975's Taking Tiger Mountain (By Strategy) and 1977's Before and After Science. His 1978 album Ambient 1: Music for Airports is widely considered one of the most influential ambient albums of all time. Over the years, Eno has released over 25 studio albums.

Collaborations

Eno has also collaborated with numerous other artists including David Bowie, U2, Coldplay, and James Blake. He has produced albums for Talking Heads, U2, Coldplay, James Blake, and many more. He has also composed film scores for movies such as Trainspotting and Traffic.

Legacy

Eno is widely regarded as one of the most influential musicians of all time. He is credited with pioneering the ambient music genre as well as influencing numerous other genres including new wave, synth-pop, and alternative rock. His influence can be heard in countless artists' music today.
