Who is Filter?
Filter is an American rock band from Cleveland, Ohio that has been active since 1993. The band consists of lead vocalist/guitarist Richard Patrick and touring members Jonathan Radtke (guitar), Oumi Kapila (guitars), Ashley Dzerigian (bass guitar), Chris Reeve (drums) and Jeff Fabb (drums). Filter first achieved mainstream success with its 1995 album Short Bus, which was certified gold with the hit single ""Hey Man Nice Shot"". The band has released six studio albums and two remix albums.Career
Filter's first release was 1995's Short Bus on Reprise Records. The album included the hit single ""Hey Man Nice Shot"", which reached number one on the US Modern Rock Tracks chart. The album also featured the single ""Take a Picture"", which went platinum and was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Hard Rock Performance in 2001. This album was followed by Title of Record in 1999, The Amalgamut in 2002, Anthems for the Damned in 2008, The Sun Comes Out Tonight in 2013, and Crazy Eyes in 2016.Collaborations
Throughout its career, Filter has collaborated with many other artists including Rob Zombie, Marilyn Manson, Korn, and Crystal Method.
