Fleet Foxes: An American Indie Folk Band
Fleet Foxes is an American indie folk band formed in Seattle, Washington in 2006. The band consists of lead vocalist and guitarist Robin Pecknold, drummer and vocalist Josh Tillman, multi-instrumentalist Skyler Skjelset, multi-instrumentalist Casey Wescott, bassist Christian Wargo and keyboardist Morgan Henderson. Over the past few years, the band has released three studio albums and several EPs.
The History of Fleet Foxes
Formed by Pecknold and Skjelset in 2006 at the University of Washington in Seattle, Fleet Foxes released a self-released demo of their songs “White Winter Hymnal” and “Ragged Wood”. They soon began recording their debut album and signed with Sub Pop records in 2007. In 2008 they released their first studio album “Fleet Foxes” which was met with critical acclaim. The band then released their second album “Helplessness Blues” in 2011 and their third album “Crack-Up” in 2017.
