Who Is Frank Ocean? Frank Ocean, born Christopher Edwin Breaux, is an American singer, songwriter and record producer from New Orleans. He has released a number of albums and mixtapes, including his debut studio album, Channel Orange in 2012. His father was a former CPA and his mother was a college professor. He was raised in an affluent neighborhood and attended boarding school at the age of 10.
