Early Life

Growing up in a musical family, Gabriel was exposed to a variety of genres and styles of music from an early age. His father and grandfather were both professional musicians, and his mother was an opera singer. At just 8 years old, he began studying classical guitar, and by the time he was 14 he had already begun writing his own songs.

Career

In 2014, Gabriel released his debut EP 'Amor e Sorte', which featured four songs written by him. This was followed in 2015 by his first full-length album 'Tropicalista', which featured ten original tracks. His most recent album 'Volta' was released in 2018 and received critical acclaim for its mix of genres. He has also collaborated with other artists on various projects, including a cover of the classic song 'The Girl from Ipanema'.

In 2017, Gabriel won the Best New Artist award at the Brazilian Music Awards. He has also been nominated for several other awards, including the Latin Grammy Awards in 2019. He was featured on the soundtrack of the popular Brazilian TV show 'Malhação' in 2018.
