Who is Gabriel Sater?

Gabriel Sater is a 24-year-old Brazilian singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. Born Gabriel Brasil in São Paulo, he has been performing as Gabriel Sater since he was just a teenager. He has released two studio albums and six singles since his 2014 debut. His music is a mix of tropical rock, Brazilian pop and folk music, with influences of contemporary Latin American music.

Early Life

Growing up in a musical family, Gabriel was exposed to a variety of genres and styles of music from an early age. His father and grandfather were both professional musicians, and his mother was an opera singer. At just 8 years old, he began studying classical guitar, and by the time he was 14 he had already begun writing his own songs.

Career

In 2014, Gabriel released his debut EP 'Amor e Sorte', which featured four songs written by him. His most recent album 'Volta' was released in 2018 and received critical acclaim for its mix of genres.
