George Janko is an American singer, songwriter and actor from Los Angeles, California. He is best known for his debut single “I’m On Fire”, which was released in 2018. The song gained over 3 million streams on Spotify in less than 6 months and was featured on the platform’s ‘Fresh Finds’ playlist. He has since released several more singles and an EP titled ‘Good Times’. His sound is a mix of pop, R&B, and hip-hop.

Early Life

George grew up in Los Angeles, California in a musical family. His father is a jazz musician and his mother is a singer-songwriter. He started playing instruments at the age of 7 and began writing songs when he was 12. At 17, he formed a band with some friends to play at local venues and festivals.

Career

George started his solo career in 2017 with the release of his debut single “I’m On Fire”. The success of the song led to him being featured on various music outlets including Billboard, Complex Magazine, and BBC Radio 1Xtra, as well as performing at prestigious venues such as the Troubadour in Los Angeles. In 2018, George released his EP ‘Good Times’ which he wrote and produced himself. He has since released several more singles including “Move On”, “Let It Out”, and “Fly Away”.

Collaborations

George has collaborated with several other artists including fellow Los Angeles artist DJ Mustard on the track “Change” as well as with London-based producer Kideko on the track “Like This”.
