Who is Ghibran?

Ghibran, whose real name is Vivek Siva, is a Tamil film music composer and singer. He has composed music for Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam movies. He made his debut as a music composer in 2011 with the movie 'Aaranya Kaandam'. Since then, he has composed music for many successful movies like 'Vathikuchi', 'Irandaam Ulagam', 'Kaaviya Thalaivan' and 'Vishwaroopam 2'.

Early Life and Career

Born and raised in Chennai, Ghibran developed an interest in music at an early age. He pursued a degree in Music Technology from the University of California. After graduating from college, he worked as a sound engineer in Los Angeles for several years. Later, he decided to return to India to pursue his dream of composing music for films. In 2011, he made his debut as a music composer with 'Aaranya Kaandam'. The movie won the National Award for Best Feature Film, and Ghibran's music was highly appreciated by critics.

Collaborations

Ghibran has collaborated with some of the best composers in the industry. He has worked with D. Imman on the movies 'Vishwaroopam 2' and 'Kanithan'. He has also collaborated with Yuvan Shankar Raja on 'Udhayanidhi Stalin' and Harris Jayaraj on 'Vathikuchi' and 'Irandaam Ulagam'. His collaborations have been well-received by audiences as well as critics.

Recent Projects

Ghibran's most recent project is the movie 'Sivappu Manjal Pachai'. The movie stars Siddharth and GV Prakash Kumar in lead roles. Ghibran has composed the songs for the movie, which were released on YouTube to much acclaim. He is currently working on two upcoming projects - an untitled project starring Vijay Sethupathi and another untitled project starring Arulnithi.
