Who Is Gold Ag?

Gold AG is an Albanian rapper, producer, and songwriter born on August 11th, 1982 in Tirana, Albania. He is best known for his unique style of rap and has become one of the most respected hip hop artists in the region. He has released numerous albums and singles since his debut album in 2009.

Early Life and Career Beginnings

Gold AG was born Arber Elezi in Tirana, Albania. He began rapping at a young age and in 2005 he released his first single “Fol Tungjatjeta” which became an instant hit in Albania. In 2009 he released his debut album “Vetem Ti” which featured collaborations with other Albanian rappers such as Tingulli 3nt, Ledri Vula, and Noizy. The album was well-received and was a commercial success.

Rise to Fame

In 2011 Gold AG released his second album titled “Dy Dashni”. It was even more successful than his debut album and featured collaborations with some of the biggest names in Albanian music such as Noizy, Ledri Vula and Elinel. The album spawned several hit singles including “Merr Ma Në Gojë” and “Asaj”. The album propelled him to stardom in Albania and he quickly became one of the biggest names in Albanian hip hop.

Recent Years

Since the release of “Dy Dashni” Gold AG has gone on to release several more albums including “Kurrë Nuk Jam E Lirë” (2013), “Kurrë Faj” (2015), “Kurrë Faj II” (2016), “Gjithçka Per Ty” (2017) and most recently “Gjithçka Per Ty II” (2018). He has also collaborated with many other artists from around the world such as American rapper Fatman Scoop. He has also been featured on various television shows both in Albania and abroad.
