Biography

Gonzalo Genek is an Argentine DJ and producer from Buenos Aires. He has been active since 2009 and is widely considered to be one of the most influential DJs in the Latin American house music scene. His style is a combination of classic house, minimalism and techno. He has released several albums, including “Genek” (2009), “The Labyrinth” (2011) and his most successful album to date, “Fusion” (2014).

Career

Genek started his career as a DJ in 2009 when he released his first album “Genek”. Since then he has released several other albums and singles, including the highly acclaimed “The Labyrinth” (2011). In 2012 he was nominated for the Best New Artist award at the Latin Grammy Awards. The following year he released his third album “Fusion” which was met with critical acclaim and propelled him to international fame.
