Who is GZA?

GZA (born Gary Grice) is an iconic American hip-hop artist, part of the Wu-Tang Clan, and a masterful storyteller and lyricist. He is widely regarded as one of the most influential and respected members of the hip-hop collective and has had a prominent solo career. He began his career as The Genius in 1991 and released his first album Words from the Genius the same year. The album was followed by Liquid Swords in 1995, which has since become one of the most acclaimed hip-hop albums ever released.

GZA's Career

GZA is no stranger to success. His solo career has been characterized by numerous awards, including two Grammy nominations for Best Rap Performance by a Duo or Group in 1996 and 2010.
