Who is Hoài Lâm?

Hoài Lâm is a prominent Vietnamese musician and entertainer. He is best known as a singer and songwriter of pop music as well as an actor, having appeared in numerous films. Born in 1986, he began his career in the late 2000s, releasing his first album in 2009. Since then, he has released several studio albums and has won several prestigious awards for his work.

Music Career

Hoài Lâm has released a total of five studio albums since beginning his career in 2009. His debut album, Người Xanh (Green People), was released in 2009 to widespread critical acclaim. His second album, Bầu Cát Mưa (Rainbow Fish), was released in 2011 and featured a more pop-oriented sound compared to his first album. Acting Career

In addition to his music career, Hoài Lâm has also had a successful acting career. He made his acting debut in 2011 with the film Dòng Sông Chờ Em (Waiting for You River). In 2014, he starred in the romantic comedy Bóng Ma Quá Khứ (Ghost Shadow of the Past) alongside Hà Anh Tuấn. The film was a commercial and critical success and earned Hoài Lâm several awards for Best Actor. In 2018, he starred in the action comedy Trang Sức Ngọc Trai (Pearl Jewelry) with Nguyễn Trọng Tài.
