Isabela Merced (born Isabela Moner) is an American teen actress, singer and songwriter. She is best known for her roles in films such as Transformers: The Last Knight (2017), Instant Family (2018) and Sicario: Day of the Soldado (2018).

Age & Early Life

Isabela was born on July 10th 2001 in Cleveland, Ohio. She grew up in a multicultural environment; her father is from Peru and her mother from Spain. Her parents divorced when she was young, but this didn’t stop her from pursuing her dreams.

Career Beginnings

At the age of 14, Isabela began her career by appearing in TV commercials for companies such as McDonald's and Old Navy. She made her acting debut in 2014 with the Nickelodeon series 100 Things To Do Before High School. She then starred in a number of films such as Transformers: The Last Knight (2017), Instant Family (2018) and Sicario: Day of the Soldado (2018).

Music Career

In 2018, Isabela released her first EP titled “The Better Half of Me”. The EP featured upbeat pop songs such as “Papi” and “All I Want”. She continued to release singles throughout 2019 and 2020, including “The Sun Will Rise” and “You Don’t Know Me”.

In 2017 Isabela was nominated for a Teen Choice Award for Choice Summer Movie Star: Female for her role in Transformers: The Last Knight. She has also received critical acclaim for her performances in Sicario: Day of the Soldado (2018) and Instant Family (2018).
