Who is Isak Danielson?

Isak Danielson is a 21-year-old singer-songwriter from Gothenburg, Sweden. He made his debut in 2018 with his single “Unavailable” and since then he has released many more singles and EP’s. His musical style combines elements of pop, soul and R&B. He is known for his amazing voice and heartfelt lyrics.

Early Life & Career Beginnings

Born in 1998, Isak Danielson started playing music at a very young age. He learned to play the guitar and soon after picked up the piano as well. At 18 years old he started releasing music on Soundcloud and YouTube, which got him noticed by Universal Music Group Sweden. After signing with the label he released his debut single “Unavailable” in 2018. Since then he has been working on new music and touring around Sweden.

Touring & Music Releases

In 2019 Isak Danielson released two singles “Love Me” and “The One”, both of which were well received by fans and critics alike. The same year he embarked on a tour in Sweden with sold out shows in Stockholm and Gothenburg. In 2020 he released two more singles “Hurt Me” and “Take Me Home”, along with an EP titled “Taken By The Wind”. He also had a tour planned for this year but due to the pandemic it was cancelled.

Isak Danielson has cited artists such as John Mayer, Ed Sheeran and James Bay as some of his biggest influences. His music is deeply personal and introspective, combining elements of pop, soul and R&B. His lyrics are often about love, heartache and the struggles of growing up.

Isak Danielson has been nominated for several awards throughout his career such as Swedish Radio P3 Gold for Best Newcomer in 2019 and Swedish Radio P4 Nästa for Best New Artist in 2020. He has also performed at several festivals such as Way Out West and Peace & Love Festival.
