Early Life

Jc La Nevula was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico in 1985. He moved to New York City at age 17 to pursue a career in music. He started off performing at small venues and eventually made his way to larger clubs. He eventually signed a record deal with Universal Music Group in 2015.

Career

Jc La Nevula started his career as an underground artist, releasing mixtapes and collaborating with other local artists. In 2010 he released the single “Amor Prohibido” which catapulted him into stardom. The song peaked at number 5 on the Billboard Latin Charts and was certified gold by the RIAA.
