Who is Jinyoung?

Jinyoung (real name Park Jin Young) is a South Korean singer-songwriter and producer. He is best known as the leader of boy band Got7. Jinyoung has been active in the music scene since 2014, releasing a number of popular singles and albums. He is also a successful producer, having collaborated with some of the biggest names in K-pop.

Got7 & Collaborations

Jinyoung first rose to fame as the leader of Got7, a seven-member boy band formed by JYP Entertainment in 2014. Over the years, Got7 has released several albums and singles that went on to become chart-toppers in both South Korea and abroad. Through Got7, Jinyoung has collaborated with numerous other artists, including Jackson Wang, BamBam, Yugyeom, and JB. He has also worked with some of the biggest names in K-pop, such as BLACKPINK's Lisa and BTS's Suga.

Solo Career

In 2018, Jinyoung stepped away from Got7 to pursue a solo career. He released his debut solo single 'Mine' in October 2018, which went on to become a huge success in South Korea and abroad. Since then, he has released several other hit singles and albums, including 'The Awakening' (2020), which debuted at #1 on the iTunes chart in seven countries.

Life Outside Music

When he's not making music or performing live, Jinyoung enjoys spending time with his friends and family. He's also an avid traveler, having visited various countries around the world to perform at concerts and meet fans. In addition to music, Jinyoung is also an ambassador for several charities and foundations that are dedicated to helping those in need.
