About Joris

Joris Voorn is an Amsterdam-based house, techno, and trance artist. Born in 1975, he has been creating music since his high school days in the early 90s. Joris got his start playing guitar in a local punk band before he began experimenting with electronic music production. His career has since taken off with releases on labels such as Green, Bedrock, Rejected and Spectral Sound. He has also released music under his own record label, Rejected.

Music Career

In 2006, Joris released his debut album 'From A Deep Place'. In 2009 he followed up with 'Balance 014', a compilation of tracks from various artists. This was followed by his second album 'Nobody Knows'. Throughout the years, Joris has continued to release critically acclaimed albums such as 'Nobody Knows' (2011) and 'Four' (2014). He has also collaborated with fellow producers such as Nicole Moudaber, Kölsch, Sebastian Mullaert and Estiva.

Live Performances

In addition to producing albums, Joris often performs live. His shows have taken him all over the world and he has played at some of the biggest clubs and festivals such as Awakenings, Time Warp and Tomorrowland. He is known for his improvisational sets which often incorporate his own unreleased tracks. He is highly respected in the industry for both his production skills and live performances.
