Who is Josh Levi?

Josh Levi is an American singer, songwriter and actor from Houston, Texas. He rose to fame after appearing on the 14th season of The X Factor USA in 2013. Since then, he has released a number of singles and collaborated with some of the biggest names in music including Sabrina Carpenter, John Legend and Alicia Keys.

Early Life and Career Beginnings

Born Joshua Levi on June 7th 1998 in Houston, Texas, Josh began singing at the age of 9 in his church choir. His passion for music led him to audition for The X Factor USA in 2013 where he placed second overall. This success opened up a lot of doors for him and he soon signed with RCA Records.

Music Career

Following his appearance on The X Factor USA, Josh released his debut single 'Secrets' featuring Sabrina Carpenter in 2014. It debuted at #14 on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart and was certified Gold by the RIAA. His second single 'Clap Your Hands' was released later that year and it peaked at #36 on the Hot 100 chart. Since then, he has collaborated with many other artists including John Legend and Alicia Keys. He also released an EP titled 'Just the Beginning' in 2017.

Acting Career

Apart from being a successful musician, Josh has also starred in a few movies and television shows. In 2016, he appeared as one of the lead characters in School of Rock which aired on Nickelodeon. He has also made appearances in other shows such as K.C Undercover (2015) and Black-ish (2016).

Aside from his EP 'Just the Beginning', Josh has released a number of singles including 'Secrets', 'Clap Your Hands', 'Goodbye', 'Let It Go' and 'Your Love'. He is currently working on new music and his upcoming projects are highly anticipated.
