Introduction to Kang Daniel (강다니엘)
Kang Daniel (강다니엘) is a South Korean singer and dancer who rose to fame after winning the K-pop reality show Produce 101 in 2017. He was born on the 10th of December 1996 in Siheung, Gyeonggi Province, South Korea. He has since become one of the most successful K-pop singers in the industry, having released several hit singles and albums over the years.
Kang Daniel was born as Kang Eui Geon in 1996. He attended Hanlim Multi Art School and graduated from the Department of Practical Music in 2016. After graduating from high school, he enrolled at Dankook University's Department of Broadcasting Arts. He was part of a dance team before appearing in Produce 101.
Kang Daniel rose to fame after competing in the Mnet reality show Produce 101 in 2017. He emerged as the winner of the show, becoming a member of the project boy band Wanna One, which debuted in August 2017 with their first single album 1X1=1 (To Be One). The group went on to become one of the most successful K-pop groups of all time, selling over 1 million albums and achieving multiple awards. Kang Daniel left Wanna One after their contract expired in December 2018.
In 2019, Kang Daniel made his solo debut with his first EP, Color On Me. The EP debuted at number one on the Gaon Album Chart and spawned several hit singles such as “What Are You Up To” and “Touchin”. His second EP, Magenta, was released in 2020 and topped the Gaon Album Chart again. Kang Daniel also released several singles such as “Who U Are” and “Adulthood”.

In addition to his musical career, Kang Daniel has also ventured into other areas such as acting and endorsing brands. He made his acting debut in the web drama Moment at Eighteen in 2019. He has also endorsed several brands such as Coca-Cola, Nike, and Jambangee.
