Early Life and Career Beginnings

Kerispatih is the stage name of Ibrahim Kurnia, a prolific singer-songwriter from Indonesia. Born in 1981, Ibrahim first found his love for music at a young age, learning how to play the guitar and piano before writing his own songs. He was discovered after performing in several local singing competitions and soon signed with a local record label.

Rise to Fame

In 2004, Kerispatih released his debut album, ""Tak Lekang Oleh Waktu"" (""Time Will Not Pass""). The album was an instant success, earning him numerous awards and nominations. His follow-up album, ""Cinta Putih"", was released in 2006 and earned him even more recognition. He has since gone on to release three more albums, including the 2020 release ""Kembalikan Cinta"" (""Return Love"").

Kerispatih has collaborated with many other Indonesian artists over the years, including Yovie Widianto, Rizky Febian, and GAC. He has also been featured on tracks by other artists, including Tulus's 2017 single ""Jangan Cintai Aku Apa Adanya"".

Personal Life

Kerispatih is married to fellow Indonesian singer Mirnawati and they have two children together. In addition to music, Kerispatih also enjoys cooking and playing sports in his downtime.
