The Early Years
Lamb of God was formed in 1994 in Richmond, Virginia. The members are vocalist Randy Blythe, bassist John Campbell, drummer Chris Adler, guitarist Mark Morton, and guitarist Willie Adler. The band's original name was Burn the Priest; they changed it to Lamb of God in 2000. That same year they released their debut album New American Gospel. Since then they have released eight studio albums, two live albums, one compilation album, one DVD release and two EPs.
