Who is LIGHTS?
LIGHTS (real name Valerie Anne Poxleitner) is a Canadian singer/songwriter who has been enchanting the world with her unique blend of indie-pop since 2009. Born in Timmins, Ontario, she began writing music at the age of eleven and released her debut album The Listening in 2009. Her music has since reached international success, with her singles being featured in a variety of films and television shows.
Music Career
LIGHTS’ music journey started when she moved to Toronto to pursue a career in music. After releasing The Listening, she went on tour and gained recognition from both critics and fans alike. She followed up in 2011 with her sophomore album Siberia, which featured singles such as “Toes” and “Saviour”. In 2012, she released an EP titled Siberia Acoustic and later in 2013, released her third album Little Machines. She has released four additional albums since then and continues to tour tirelessly all over the world.

Throughout her career, LIGHTS has had the opportunity to collaborate with some of the industry’s biggest stars. She has worked with artists such as Marshmello, The Moth & The Flame, and Deadmau5.
