Early Life and Career
Astanova was born in St. Petersburg, Russia in 1984. She began studying classical piano at the age of four under the tutelage of her mother, a professional pianist. By the age of seven, she was performing her first concerts as a soloist. She later attended the Rimsky-Korsakov State Conservatory in St. Petersburg where she studied piano performance with Professor Valeri Grohovski.
Rise to Fame
Astanova’s career began to take off in 2004 when she was invited to perform at the prestigious Kremlin Festival in Moscow.
