Mãolee - The Brazilian Singer/Songwriter

Mãolee is a Brazilian singer/songwriter who has been conquering the music scene with his unique mix of pop/rock with samba and MPB (Musica Popular Brasileira). Born in 1989 in the city of Curitiba, in the south of Brazil, Mãolee started playing drums when he was a kid and quickly showed an incredible potential to learn music. He soon moved to São Paulo and started studying guitar, piano and singing. After a few years of musical studies, Mãolee decided to dedicate himself completely to his career as a musician.

Mãolee's Music

Mãolee's music is heavily influenced by great artists like Chico Buarque, Roberto Carlos, Legião Urbana and Charlie Brown Jr. He is known for having a powerful voice paired with catchy melodies. In 2011 Mãolee released his first album, 'Eu Sou de Fato', which was well received by critics and fans alike. Since then he has released two more albums: 'Vida Marvada' (2013) and 'Aqui Agora' (2017).

Collaborations with Kleo Dibah & Rafael Bitencourt

In 2018 Mãolee collaborated with Kleo Dibah on the hit single 'Vem Beijar'. The single achieved great success in Brazil and made it to the top 10 of the main music charts. The same year he collaborated again with Kleo Dibah and Rafael Bitencourt on another single called 'Deixa Acontecer'. The song was nominated for the Latin Grammy Awards in 2019.

Concerts & Tours

Throughout his career Mãolee has performed in several concerts and tours across Brazil. He has also performed at important festivals like Festival VillaMix Goiânia (2013), Festival Arraial do Divino (2016) and Festival Curitiba Pop Rock (2018).

Mãolee Today

Mãolee is currently working on new material for his next album, which is expected to be released in 2020. In the meantime, he's kept busy playing concerts and recording singles with other artists. His impressive voice, catchy melodies and energetic performances make him one of the most promising young artists in Brazil.
