Early Life
Michael Patrick Kelly was born on December 5th, 1980 in Dublin, Ireland. His father is a famous Irish folk singer and his mother was a social worker. At an early age, Michael was exposed to music and began playing instruments such as piano and guitar. In 1990, he moved to Germany with his family where he continued to pursue music.
Career
In 2004, Michael Patrick Kelly released his first album “Shake Away” under the name Paddy Kelly. The album was met with critical success and featured hit singles such as “Roundabout” and “Living Without You”. His follow-up album “The Awakening” was released in 2008 and achieved even greater success. That same year he also formed the band The Kelly Family with his siblings which went on to become one of the most popular music acts in Germany.
