Michael Ray Roach, better known by his stage name Michael Ray, is an American country music singer and songwriter. Ray was born in Eustis, Florida on April 29th, 1988. He grew up in a musical family and was influenced by his grandfather, who was a professional musician. He wrote his first song at age 15 and went on to attend college at Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee. In 2010, he signed with Atlantic Records Nashville and released his debut single ""Kiss You in the Morning"".
