Who is Milow?

Milow (born Jonathan Vandenbroeck) is a Belgian singer-songwriter from Leuven, Belgium. He first gained recognition in 2006 after the release of his debut album “The Bigger Picture”. Since then, he has become one of the most successful artists in his home country and beyond.

Career

Milow began playing music at a young age and started writing songs when he was just 15. After studying English and Spanish at University, he decided to pursue a career in music and released his debut EP “Out Of My Hands” in 2004. He then released his debut album “The Bigger Picture” in 2006 which went on to sell over 500,000 copies. His success continued with the release of his follow up albums “Coming of Age” (2008) and “North & South” (2010). His fourth album “Silver Linings” was released in 2012 and featured the hit single “Ayo Technology”, which was certified platinum in several countries. In 2017, he released his fifth album “Modern Heart” which received critical acclaim from fans and critics alike.

Collaborations

Milow has collaborated with a number of artists including Train, Kensington, Lukas Graham and more. He has also written songs for other artists including The Script, Christina Aguilera and Maroon 5.

Awards

Milow has won several awards throughout his career including two TMF Awards, three Radio 2 Awards and an Edison Award. He also received the title of “Best Male Artist” at the 2011 European Music Awards.
