Who is MKTO?

MKTO is an American pop duo composed of singers and songwriters Malcolm Kelley and Tony Oller. They were both actors before they started their musical career in 2013. The two boys gained fame for their single ""Classic"" which was certified double platinum in Australia. They released their debut album titled ""MKTO"" in 2014, which included the single ""Classic"".

Early Life

Malcolm Kelley was born on March 27th, 1992 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He started his acting career at the age of 8, appearing in the film ""Antwone Fisher"" and the TV series ""Lost"". Tony Oller was born on March 25th, 1991 in Houston, Texas. He began his acting career at the age of 11 and appeared as a lead actor in several TV series including ""As the Bell Rings"".

Career

In 2013, Malcolm and Tony teamed up and formed MKTO, a pop duo. Their first single ""Thank You"" was released on April 2nd, 2013. The song reached number 6 on the Billboard Heatseekers chart. On May 14th, 2013 they released their second single ""Classic"" which quickly became very popular and achieved international success. It was certified double platinum in Australia and gold in New Zealand. In 2014, MKTO released their self-titled debut album. The album featured 12 original songs, including ""Classic"". The same year they went on tour with Demi Lovato and Cher Lloyd to promote their music.

Collaborations

MKTO has collaborated with many artists over the years. They were featured on Luccy Hale's song ""Kiss Me"" from her album ""Road Between"" (2014). In 2015, they were featured on a remix of Ne-Yo's song ""She Knows"", alongside Juicy J. They have also collaborated with artists like Christina Milian, Martin Garrix, DJ Cassidy and many others.

Facts

MKTO stands for 'Misfit Kids and Total Outcasts'. Malcolm's favorite color is green while Tony's favorite color is blue. Malcolm loves basketball and he's a big fan of LeBron James. Tony likes skateboarding and playing guitar. Both members are currently single.
