Early Life and Education
Momina was born in Islamabad and completed her higher education there. She graduated with a degree in Biomedical Engineering from the National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST).
Career
Momina started her professional career in 2015 as a playback singer for the Pakistani film Bin Roye. Her major breakthrough came when she sang the duet ‘Afreen Afreen’ with Rahat Fateh Ali Khan for Coke Studio. The song became an instant hit and gained her immense popularity. She later collaborated with Quratulain Balouch for her debut single 'Rahguzar' which earned her award nominations from Lux Style Awards and Hum Awards. In 2018, she composed the song 'Aaya Lariye' with Faakhir Mehmood for Coke Studio Season 11.
