About Namika

Namika is a German singer and songwriter who has been making waves in the music industry since 2014. Born Namika Azoukane in 1990, she is most well-known for her singles such as Lieblingsmensch, Nador, and Kompliziert, which were all released in the same year. She has collaborated with artists such as Kool Savas, Azad, and Moe Phoenix. Namika rose to fame after appearing on the fifth season of TV talent show, The Voice of Germany. Her debut album Nador was released in 2015 and received a nomination for best urban album at the ECHO Awards.

Career Highlights

In 2016, Namika was nominated for Newcomer of the Year at the 1LIVE Krone Awards. She was also honored with an award for Best Urban Music Act at the 2017 Radio Regenbogen Awards. Throughout her career, Namika has released several chart-topping singles such as Je ne parle pas français with Black M, which peaked at number one in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Her follow-up single NEONLUX was also a huge success, reaching number one in both Germany and Austria.
