Who is Noel Torres?
Noel Torres is a Mexican singer-songwriter whose career began in his home state of Tamaulipas. He started singing professionally at the age of 15 and quickly rose to fame in the Mexican music scene. Since then, he has released three studio albums and numerous singles, earning him numerous awards and recognitions from major Latin music organizations.
Noel Torres was born in Ciudad Victoria, Tamaulipas, Mexico in 1990. His family is originally from the city of Matamoros, where he spent most of his childhood. At age 12 he began singing in local talent shows and festivals, which opened the door for him to pursue his musical career.
At the age of 15, Noel Torres signed a contract with Universal Music Mexico and released his debut album “Noel Torres” (2006). This album went on to be certified platinum in Mexico and spawned several hit singles such as “Esperando Tu Regreso” and “Tu Veneno”. In 2009 he released his second album “Más de Lo Que Pedí”, followed by his third album “Canta Corazón” (2011). Both albums were certified gold in Mexico. In 2012 he released his first EP “Corridos de Alto Voltaje” which included a duet with legendary Mexican singer Vicente Fernández.
